This looks like a very interesting and worthwhile project.

The cast of the Lord of the Rings trilogies came together, with author Julia Golding, to try and turn J.R.R. Tolkien's house into a literary center.

J.R.R. Tolkien is known the world over for establishing the traditional elements of the fantasy genre in literature and, by extension, other mediums including film and video games. His novels were famously adapted in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy, bringing the fantasy genre into mainstream cinema.

Stars of the film trilogies, including Sir Ian McKellen, John Rhys-Davies and The Hobbit's Martin Freeman, discussed the history and significance of Tolkien in a video to try and raise funds to save Tolkien's house. The campaign, Project Northmoor, was started by author Julia Golding and aims to raise approximately $6 million to buy Tolkien's house, which is currently up for sale, and turn it into a literary center.
